I have always loved playing in the mountains, challenging myself and finding those remote locations away from it all, which is why I settled in Buena Vista, Colorado. When I was introduced to the dual sport motorcycle, a whole world of opportunities for adventure and exploration opened up beyond what I could have imagined.

Unlike my husband Chris, I am relatively new to the motorcycle scene. On one of our first dates, Chris took me on a ride through the mountains of Colorado on his BMW R1150gs. About 5 minutes into the ride there was no going back for me. I was hooked and I needed a bike of my own. A few months later, I was the proud owner of a BMW F650gs. I have put that motorcycle through the wringer and she has held up like a champ.

The freedom of the adventure bike was just what I had been looking for. There is truly nothing like loading up the bike with all your camping gear and taking off to explore down a remote dirt road, never really knowing what you will find along the way. I am grateful to have endless miles of incredible tracks over all types of terrain right here in my own home state. You will find me out wandering through the mountains on that motorcycle any chance I get.

Since we met, Chris and I have traveled the world and had many unforgettable adventures, but we have dreamed of getting on our bikes to do a bigger ride together. Now we finally have the opportunity and are heading to Africa.
